1. Physical-device screen recording

The recording was captured on a physical iPhone and begins with launching the app. It demonstrates the typical iPhone flow: selecting one portrait in the system photo picker, on-device person detection and background removal, changing the background color, choosing preset and custom dimensions, generating the finished image, and opening the save and share options.

The submitted recording covers the iPhone flow only. iPad and Mac compatibility are listed separately below and are not represented as part of that mobile recording. The app has no registration, login, account deletion, paid content, subscriptions, in-app purchases, advertising, or user-generated-content community.

2. Tested devices and operating systems

• iPad Pro 13-inch (M5) — iPadOS 26.5 — simulator compatibility check
• 13-inch MacBook Pro (Mac14,7, Apple M2) — macOS 26.5.1 — physical device

On the physical iPhone, photo selection, person extraction, background replacement, preset and custom size switching, generation, saving and sharing, settings, App Store review entry, and email feedback were tested. On the iPad simulator, the Release build was installed and cold-launched successfully. On the physical Mac, Finder import, drag and drop, Apple Vision processing, background replacement, preset/custom sizes, PNG/JPEG/PDF export, print layouts, settings, sharing, and feedback were tested. The macOS Release target compiles for macOS 13.0; the macOS 13 Vision person-segmentation compatibility path was also exercised with a real portrait.

3. Functions, target audience, problem, and value

ID Photo Studio is a local photo utility for users who need portraits in common document, school, employment, resume, travel, application, or visa-photo proportions.

Apple Vision identifies the person and face on the device. The app removes or replaces the background, frames the portrait, and creates PNG, JPEG, or PDF output using preset or custom dimensions. It also supports common print-sheet layouts. Results can be saved to Photos or Files, or shared through the system sharing interface.

The app provides a quick way to prepare a clean, correctly proportioned portrait without sending the user's photo to an external server.

4. Setup and access instructions

No account, login credentials, subscription, purchase, activation, special configuration, or sample file is required. Any clear, front-facing portrait may be used.

1. Launch the app. On iPhone or iPad, tap Choose Photo (选择照片). On Mac, click Open Photo (打开照片), press Command-O, or drag one image into the window.
2. Select one clear, front-facing portrait.
3. Wait for the on-device person-recognition process to finish.
4. Select a preset size, or enter width and height under Custom Size (自定义尺寸), then choose a background color.
5. Select Generate ID Photo (生成证件照), then choose PNG, JPEG, or PDF and an optional print layout.
6. Select Save to Photos (保存到照片), Save to File (保存到文件), or Share with Other Apps (分享给其他应用).

The iOS system photo picker provides only the image explicitly selected by the user. On Mac, files are accessed only after the user selects or drops them. Camera permission is requested only when the user chooses direct capture. Photos permission is requested only when the user saves a result to Photos. The app does not request microphone, location, contacts, or App Tracking Transparency permission.

5. External services, tools, and platforms

The app does not use third-party SDKs, a developer-operated server, authentication providers, payment processors, advertising platforms, analytics services, data providers, or third-party AI services. It does not upload user photos.

It uses only Apple system services and frameworks:

• Apple Vision for on-device person and face detection
• Apple PhotosUI and AppKit file panels for user-controlled photo selection
• Apple Photos for saving a generated result
• Apple UIKit or AppKit for the system sharing interface
• Apple AVFoundation for optional Mac camera capture
• Apple StoreKit for the system App Store review request
• The system Mail app for optional user feedback

6. Regional differences

The app functions consistently in all available regions. It has no region lock, country-specific service, or region-specific feature availability. It supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.

7. Regulated industry and protected third-party material

ID Photo Studio is a general photo-editing utility. It does not issue identification, verify identity, submit applications to government authorities, or claim government affiliation. Preset names are photo-size references only, and users are advised to confirm the receiving organization's current requirements.

The app does not contain protected third-party material. No regulatory authorization, third-party license, demo account, or external credential is required.
