For returning users who have completed onboarding, a cold launch may show one app-open ad from the Scanly PDF loading screen; if consent, network, or ad fill is unavailable, the loading screen releases after at most five seconds. The ad is never presented late over interactive main content, and inline ads are not loaded underneath it. Home contains one standard native placement, Tools contains one compact 160-point native placement between tool groups, and Files and Settings each contain one standard 320×50 banner within scrollable content. These placements scroll with their content and are not anchored over controls or the tab bar. The Files banner is omitted during batch selection and the Tools native ad is omitted while searching. Scanner, PDF editor, Paper Signing editor, and export screens contain no ads. Where applicable, the app presents Google UMP consent first and then Apple's ATT prompt. If tracking is allowed and the required regional consent exists, the ad SDK may use IDFA for personalized advertising and measurement. If denied, ads can still appear without IDFA and no feature is restricted. Ads never receive document contents.
